Description

Abstract Submissions 

Due May 10 by 5:00 PM EST

A 250 -maximum word abstract that highlights accomplishments and findings of the research and outcomes that may be beneficial to the larger Alzheimer’s Community.

Revisions will be accepted until the deadline, including changes to the author/co-author order.

Accepted abstracts will be presented in person during the ID-ALZ IDWeek Pre-meeting as 20-minute oral presentations with 10 minutes for Q&A. This meeting will be held Tuesday, October 15, 2024, from 8:00 am-5:00 pm PST in Los Angeles, CA.

Abstract submission Guidelines and StructureThe abstract character limit is 1950 (spaces are not counted). Title and authors do not count against the 1950-character limit.

Background

Founded in 2018 by the IDSA Foundation, the Microbial Pathogenesis in Alzheimer’s Research Grant Program goals are to enhance research on the correlation between infectious agents or microbial communities with Alzheimer’s disease, and to promote novel research in the field of microbial triggers for Alzheimer’s disease. These grants aim to advance research to provide a cure to Alzheimer’s disease that is currently affecting 6.6 million Americans, 65 years of age and older and 47 million, worldwide.

IDSA seeks proposals that highlight the accomplishments and findings of the research and outcomes that may be beneficial to the larger ID-Alzheimer’s Community.
